Efficient working on zirconium oxide frames
5 december 2012 - Busch introduceert product innovatie. Hieronder treft u de originele tekst van het persbericht aan.
There is a growing trend towards aesthetic, tooth shade restorations. Due to its high hardness, the new zirconium oxide (ZrO2) material used for frames is difficult to cut with conventional diamond instruments. Before zirconium oxide frames are faced, final corrections are often needed, for instance in order to optimize their fit on the master model.
Busch offers the new Ziramant instruments with FG shank for use in laboratory turbines with water cooling. The instruments are diamond coated and specially adapted for working on zirconium oxide. Their advantages include a better performance and longer tool life as compared with conventional diamond instruments.
Ziramant instruments are available in five different shapes and two different grits.
