Gezamenlijke training Ivoclar Vivadent & Nobel Biocare

9 december 2010 - De samenwerking tussen Ivoclar Vivadent en Nobel Biocare heeft inmiddels geleid tot de eerste gezamenlijke trainingsprogramma. Hieronder treft u het originele persbericht aan.

Ivoclar Vivadent and Nobel Biocare successfully conducted their first joint training and education program at the ICDE (International Centre for Dental Education) at Ivoclar Vivadent’s Headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein. The topic of the workshop was "Ivoclar Vivadent materials and veneering solutions for NobelProcera Precision Milled Restorations".  Further cooperative courses and workshops will be offered worldwide in the future.

The workshop was specifically aimed at NobelProcera users, opinion leaders and lecturers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and was delivered by Ivoclar Vivadent trainers. While the well-grounded theoretical component provided a step-by-step introduction to the various procedures, the subsequent hands-on training allowed the participants to immediately put into practice what they had learned. In addition, the attendees were given detailed insight into the comprehensive range of Ivoclar Vivadent products, which comprises veneering solutions for NobelProcera Precision Milled Restorations (zirconium oxide and metal-based) as well as materials for the CAD/CAM manufacture of long-term temporary restorations (Telio CAD) and monolithic LS₂ single-tooth crowns (IPS e.max CAD).

The course concept

Prior to the announced cooperation between Ivoclar Vivadent and Nobel Biocare the compatible veneering materials (such as IPS e.max Ceram and IPS InLine from Ivoclar Vivadent) were tested thoroughly and certified with regard to their material, technical and esthetic compatibility.

Under the direction of Per Claesson, Global Education & Congress Manager NobelProcera & Guided Surgery at Nobel Biocare, and Jürgen Seger, Head of ICDE Training Technical at Ivoclar Vivadent, the joint course program was developed to highlight the versatility of the products offered by both manufacturers and to train users on how to use them in combination in order to achieve superior end-to-end results.

The cooperation

Ivoclar Vivadent has entered into a dental materials partnership with Nobel Biocare. This collaboration will allow dental lab technicians and dentists to benefit from the strengths of two companies, which are both market leaders in the field of esthetic restorations and prosthetic systems.
